The group is operated as informally as possible with rules that accommodate most ambitions from the occasional European tour, weekends away or just a bit of daytime aerodrome hopping.

If your intentions are purely hours building then this is not the group for you, although flexible it is intended that the average member would use the aircraft for 50-75 hours per year. If you have looked at the preceeding pages you will have seen that the plane is well equipped, in good condition, looked after and maintained. We welcome potential members who would like to see it remain in this condition!

The only minimum requirement for insurance purposes are Pilots with at least 100hours total time in their log books. VFR pilots are welcome, but are reminded that it is intended for the aircraft to remain IFR / IMC equipped and capable which does cost a little more than a basically VFR equipped aircraft. Insurance covers any continuance training required by group members for ratings and certificates of experience renewals, as well as training for the initial issuing of either.
